Two most recent pay stubs
Or, if you are self-employed, two years of tax returns and a year-to-date profit and loss.
Two months of bank statements
Every page, including the blank ones. Underwriters ask for the missing page every single time.
Last two W-2s
Or 1099s. If you changed jobs, we will need the offer letter too.
Photo ID
Driver’s licence or passport. For a VA loan, your Certificate of Eligibility as well.
Not everything applies to everyone. If something on this list does not exist for you, say so on the form and we will work out the substitute.
